Big Blue

This is my BlueStar 48" RNB in Cobalt Blue.  There are many like it, but this one is mine.  Together we take care of my family.  It helps me provide good and nourishing meals for my family.

I will take care of my BlueStar.  I will guard it against grease and grime.  I will help keep it clean.

No complaints here

It is Monday, the schools are closed and it is very quiet outside.  I am more than satisfied with the amount of snow that fell this past weekend.  The Big Giant Head is caved in from the weight of the snow, we got some of the snow off, but it was too cold to move the branches too much.  The Rasti Bush is a giant snowball, the birds do not like their home being invade with all this white stuff.  They cannot go too far into it because of the snow, I am sure the Hawk is somewhere close watching them.   On the upside the sun is out and we can just imagine that it is warmer out than it is.

 I don't need anymore snow, we got enough for the season. 

I'm just sayin.....

Digging out

I was a naysayer, I said that it would not amount to much.  I did not want to be the "Harbinger of Doom".  Everyone was predicting major snow.  I figured that if I kept saying that it would not happen, then it wouldn't.  Well I was wrong....plain and simple....I was wrong.

It started Friday night and continued til late Saturday night.  I will admit to getting some great photos.

Saturday morning we woke up to some snow accumulation, I should have maybe given in to saying we might get more than I thought.

 The snow continued throughout the day....

Then into Saturday evening....

Saturday night the snow kept going.

We awoke Sunday Morning to clear sunshine and snow, lots of snow.

We finished our morning coffee and went out to do the shoveling and snow blowing.

Luna had to come outside to see what all the fuss was about....

I walked around getting a few more shots.

I saved the very best for last.

Goodness, he is handsome.  I love this man.

On the upside, we don't live in Copenhagen, NY....
